J1250N Compassionate Hands of Hope Farm

Eight years ago, we responded to a simple need and a calling from God to establish a living center for the beautiful children of Kassanda District, Lugazi LC1 just outside Kampala in Uganda. The facility now provides schooling, meals and shelter for over three hundred children. We have classrooms, dormitories, some staff housing, kitchens and ablution facilities.

For years, the centre has made a clearly visible difference in the lives of many. These lives include precious young children at risk of voluntary relinquishment to orphanages by poor, loving parents. Children are given housing, schooling and love, that in turn give them the security they deserve and move them to become strong, responsible young women and men.

The centre is growing, advancing and expanding at an incredible and welcoming pace. We want to be able provide as much of what this community deserves as is possible.

These at-risk children are supported with food, healthcare, education and a nurturing environment that promises them a brighter future!

This really is just the beginning of what we can do for these children and community. With your help, we can do so much more. We have now purchased a farm nearby. At this point, we plan to use this farm and the buildings that were on it to expand this facility.

Our vision is clear:

This farm will be used to house an agricultural learning center for the students at the school, an aspect of learning that needs to be developed and expanded. We will then use the acquired skills and a part of the farm to grow fresh produce to provide self sustenance and for sale to the community in the future. We wil
